Team MooreSportsRadio.com 2024

Mike Martin, Adam Carpenter, Thomas Carpenter, & David Sinclair

Mike Martin
Mike launched MooreSportsRadio.com in 2007 and handles play-by-play. Regionally recognized as the Voice of the Pinecrest Patriots, he has been the public address announcer for hundreds of prep contests including football, baseball, men's and women's basketball, men's and women's soccer, volleyball and softball since 1993.

A graduate of East Carolina University and creative services/marketing communications professional for more than 30 years, Mike ventured into radio in 2007 with Moore Sports - a weekly hour-long sports talk show on a small AM radio station. When he was not behind the mic at home Pinecrest events, he was doing color commentary on Patriot road games.

Mike was the 2012 N.C. Soccer Coaches Association (NCSCA) State Media Person of the Year and the 2011 and 2012 NCSCA 4A Region 4 Media Person of the Year. He is currently President and Chairman of the Greensboro-based North Carolina Youth Soccer Association, with more than active 72,000 youth recreation and competitive players.

Adam Carpenter

A 2003 Pinecrest graduate, Adam Carpenter developed a passion for following Patriot sports. During his senior year, he took part in what he describes as "the greatest class of Pinecrest ‘Superfans’ to ever bleed green and gold." Since 2009, Adam has been our statistician and on-air analyst.

He also runs the Pinecrest baseball site, and he has a site dedicated to the Pinecrest boys' and girls' soccer programs.

Thomas Carpenter

Following a 31-year law enforcement career, Thomas joined MooreSportsRadio.com in 2011 as a sideline reporter. He moved into the booth as an analyst in 2016 and took over play-by-play responsibilities for Patriot baseball in 2022.

Thomas is a Realtor™ with Carolina Property Sales. Call him at (910) 315-5745.

David Sinclair

A 1980 Pinecrest graduate, David has covered Patriot athletics as both a student reporter and later in his career at The Pilot newspaper in Southern Pines. From 1980-1983, he covered Pinecrest football, basketball and baseball with the late Felton Capel, the original Voice of the Patriots.

David's passion is photography. He joined the MooreSportsRadio.com team in 2022 as our official photographer.
