Recap: Union Pines 28 - J.M. 21

Union Pines improved to 4-0 Friday thanks to another standout performance by quarterback Ben Bowbliss. The junior threw three touchdown passes to lead the Vikings past Jordan-Matthews 28-21 in Cameron.

Bowbliss completed 15 of 27 passes for 153 yards and he carried the ball 10 times for 82 yards. He completed touchdown passes to Brandon Deloatch for 11 and 25 yards. Bowbliss connected with Brayden Gisler for an 11-yard touchdown to put the Vikings up 20-7 late in the third quarter. He also had a two-point conversion after running back Julian Thomas' 5-yard score late in the game.

Union Pines (4-0) hosts Western Harnett (0-4) next week.
